As per the Regulation Health Professions Act (RHPA), the NSNMR Initial Board will remain in place for the period of one year until a new Board is appointed or elected under this Act and the regulations. The Initial Board, acting as a transitional board, has 10 members made up of the existing legacy boards. The purpose and goal of the initial board is to:
- help the organization transition from old legislation to RHPA
- continue developing the governance framework needed to effectively govern NSNMR in the future
The initial NSNMR Board will develop a Board election process for the subsequent Board over the next 12-months. Please stay tuned for more information.
