The Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator (NSNMR) is hosting the Foundations for Success: Regulatory Guidance for New Practicing Nurses Workshop on October 29, 2026, from 8:30am - 2:30pm at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre in Sydney. See below for further event details.
Based on recent questions from nurses entering the profession and the practice trends we have observed through our consultations, NSNMR has identified a need for clearer regulatory guidance for nurses who are new to practice. Many new registrants have shared that they would benefit from simple, practical information about regulatory expectations as they begin their careers.
Please note: NSNMR is also holding a workshop on September 11th in Dartmouth with will the same content and agenda.
