The Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator (NSNMR) is hosting the Foundations for Success: Regulatory Guidance for New Practicing Nurses Workshop on September 11, 2026, from 8:30am - 2:30pm at the Sandman Hotel in Dartmouth. See below for further event details.
Based on recent questions from nurses entering the profession and the practice trends we have observed through our consultations, NSNMR has identified a need for clearer regulatory guidance for nurses who are new to practice. Many new registrants have shared that they would benefit from simple, practical information about regulatory expectations as they begin their careers.
Please note: NSNMR is also hosting a workshop in Sydney in October. Both workshops offer the same content and agenda.
